Why backend

The hire where mistakes cost the most.

Frontend mistakes look bad. Backend mistakes lose data, leak accounts, and fall over on your biggest day. That’s why we vet backend engineers on architecture judgment, not just syntax — and why every seat comes with a senior review culture around it.

01

API design

Contracts your frontend, partners, and future integrations can rely on — versioned, documented, boring in the best way.

02

Data modeling

Schemas that survive change. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in software; it's a core vetting topic for us.

03

Distributed systems

Queues, caching, retries, idempotency — the machinery that keeps things working when one piece fails.

04

Security

Authentication, authorization, secrets handling, and input hardening as defaults, not afterthoughts.

05

Observability

Logs, metrics, and traces built in from day one — so a 3am problem is visible before your customers report it.

Stacks

The stacks we staff.

Tell us what you run — we match from our pipeline. These are the backend stacks we most commonly place.

Credentials

What you'll see on Bangladeshi backend CVs.

Certifications aren't how we vet — our pipeline is. But they show what the market here trains for. Behind them sits an engineering-school pipeline — BUET, University of Dhaka, NSU and others — and one of the world's most active competitive-programming communities.

Vetting

How we vet a backend engineer.

Five stages before you meet anyone — and you still interview last and make the final call. Nobody joins your team without your sign-off.

  1. 1Systems design conversation
  2. 2Live API-building exercise
  3. 3SQL and data-modeling depth
  4. 4Code review of real work
  5. 5English & communication screen

Frequently asked questions

Girmairi's backend seats are flat monthly rates: junior from $1,800 per month, mid-level $2,600, senior $3,800, lead $4,600, and staff $5,400. That covers a full-time engineer plus office, equipment, HR, and management. The full rate card is at /pricing#backend.

At Girmairi they are full-time engineers working from the company's managed office in Dhaka — never freelancers. Girmairi provides the seats, equipment, and HR, and the engineer works your hours on your stack as a dedicated member of your team.

Yes. Girmairi vets each backend engineer first — a systems design conversation, a live API-building exercise, SQL and data-modeling depth, code review of real work, and an English screen — then you interview last and make the final call. Nobody joins your team without your sign-off.

You contract with Girmairi LLC, a US company, and an NDA and IP assignment are signed before any work begins. Everything the engineer builds belongs to you, and you pay one monthly invoice in USD, billed in advance, like any US vendor.

Every seat comes with a replacement guarantee. If an engineer isn't the right fit, Girmairi replaces them from its vetted pipeline — a bad fit is Girmairi's cost, not yours.

Node.js/TypeScript, Python (Django and FastAPI), Java/Spring Boot, Go, .NET, and PHP/Laravel, alongside PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ. Tell Girmairi what you run and it matches engineers from its pipeline to your stack.

Yes — 5–10% off for three or more seats or a 12-month commitment. Rates are otherwise flat per seat, billed monthly in advance in USD, and every client company also gets one hour per month with Girmairi's founder, a working CTO, included.

Backend seats are on the standard rate card.

Same flat monthly rate, same includes — office, equipment, HR, management, replacement guarantee.
